Jakes CronjeJakes Cronje

After attaining his B.Tech degree in dental technology at Technikon Witwatersrand, Johannesburg in 1998, Jakes moved to the United Kingdom to further his career. He returned to the UK after a two-year stint in South Africa and settled in Weston-super-Mare. He became a director at Precident Ltd in 2009, and is working hard to maintain and improve the laboratory's well-founded reputation for quality and service.

Etienne MeintjesEtienne Meintjes

Etienne qualified in 1996 at Pretoria Technikon, South Africa after completing a 4-year full time course. He has worked and gained a lot of experience as a dental technician in South Africa, before moving to the United Kingdom in 2005.

Etienne has got many years of experience in private dental laboratories, both as a technician and as laboratory manager. Working in a production laboratory for a few years made him realize that his passion lies with cosmetic and aesthetic work and decided to join the Precident team.

Pete WattsPete Watts

GDC Registration number 140188

Pete qualified as a dental technician at Sheffield in 1996 and worked in a prosthetic laboratory learning basic skills for 18 months. He then went on to work for HM Forces for 6 years training in all areas of Dental Technology and spending time posted in Germany.

Upon leaving the Army Pete moved to New Zealand and lived and worked for 4 years finishing running a laboratory in Auckland. Once returning to the UK Pete settled in Bristol working mainly in crown and bridge before moving to Precident in 2009. Pete’s main focus at Precident is frameworks, chrome, prosthetics and implants, and he is also Straumann Platinum Approved.
